Imperfezione Album Artwork for Meg by Leta Sobierajski

“In her newest album, Imperfezione, Meg rightfully portrays her independence as an artist, as well as her recent discoveries in which she has found balance in all aspects of her life. This album artwork reflects her declaration as an independent, imperfect woman and as a colorful, compelling human being. Meg is always going forwards, never backwards, and with this comes challenges and hardship in life. Meg is adorned in colorful armor and adornment to battle these challenges of life and stands in a powerful, triumphant pose.“

Leta Sobierajski is a multidisciplinary designer and art director based in New York City combining photography, art, and styling with more traditional design elements to create utterly unique visuals. Her work is incredibly diverse, ranging from conventional identities to brilliantly bizarre compositions. She studied graphic design at Purchase College and has been working independently since 2013. She has been recognized by Print Magazine for its annual New Visual Artists Review, selecting 20 international designers under the age of 30.

Goodwood Festival of Speed with Ford

Goodwood Festival of Speed with Ford

This festival dedicated to everything automotive is all about speed. The theme for the 2015 Festival of Speed was ‘Flat-Out and Fearless: Racing On The Edge’. Sir Stirling Moss took to the Hill in his 1955 Mille Miglia SLR ‘722’, Valentino Rossi made his Festival debut and NASCAR legend Richard Petty drove his ferocious ‘Swamp Rat 1’ dragster. Our personal highlights were when Guinness record stunt drive Terry Grant drove a Nissan Juke around the entire track on just 2 wheels, the spectacular Red Arrows show and seeing a 10-ton Red Bull truck ripping it around the track.

Goodwood Festival of Speed with Ford

The Cartier ‘Style et Luxe’ was first held in 1995, at the third FOS, so 2015 marked the 20th anniversary of this world-famous concours event.

Goodwood Festival of Speed with Ford

Internationally renowned for its fabuous cars and garden party atmosphere, the ‘Style et Luxe’ was conceived as a styling competition for pre-1940 coachbuilt cars, judged by a panel of artists, commentators and designers.

We had been invited by Ford to see Ken Block drive the new Focus RS and former Top Gear “Stig” Ben Collins drive the limited production Shelby GT350R Mustang up the famous Goodwood Hillclimb. The all-new Ford Focus RS made its dynamic debut at this year’s Festival of Speed. The Ford Performance-themed stand also included the multi-award-winning Fiesta ST, the premiere of the all-new Ford GT supercar and amazing views of the festival from their roof terrace (equipped with a slide from roof to ground).

“I’m excited to get behind the wheel of the new Focus RS,” said Ken Block. “I’ve had so much fun helping Ford develop this next generation of ultimate hot hatch and I’m stoked about the thought of blasting up Lord March’s Hillclimb with 350 PS and all-wheel drive at my disposal.”

Another highlight from the day was certainly the Mazda sculpture. Gerry Judah’s central feature is always one of the most anticipated aspects of the Festival, and the 2015 sculpture was one of the biggest ever. The 40-metre-high tower featured 720 steel beams supporting a Le Mans787B and an LM55 Vision Gran Turismo concept car.

The watch label originally launched on Indiegogo a year ago and soon after started to sell their first collection quite successfully on their own online shop. The new chrono line is truly filled with quality components such as anti-reflective and scratch resistant sapphire crystal, 316L stainless steel, a genuine leather band plus a stainless steel Milanese mesh band and inside a great and new hybrid technology; a Seiko MechaQuartz movement. It is just as accurate as a quartz movement but has the feel of a mechanical watch.

“When it comes to this point, we always try to create unique and progressive designs. Our watches are designed to collaborate with their owners to create exceptional outfits. That is also a reason, why our new meshable chrono comes with two premium bands and a changing tool, so the user can decide and make it fit perfectly.”

Their focus lies in creating progressive design products that collaborate with their owners to complete smart outfits and exceptional looks. With very sophisticated goals, they try to offer premium quality for affordable prices. It is quite a new series of “hybrid” movements from Seiko that combine the great accuracy of a quartz movement, with the feel of a mechanical chronograph. The chronograph hand sweeps smoothly 5 beats per second and has a fly-back chrono reset.

The meshable chrono is their second watch collection and outcome of a long and careful design process. They took inspiration from urban architecture and modern street culture and added a remarkable MechaQuartz movement. The Chrono comes with two bands and gives you the choice for your perfect look. A classy and clean genuine leather band or a sleek and catchy milanese mesh band – every chrono packaging will include a tool, so you can change the bands whenever you like.

In the heart of Piccadilly London lies Jermyn Street, the destination for Gentlemen’s styling. Found At its centre, at No. 89, is Floris, renowned perfumer and home to iconic men’s fragrance for nearly 300 years. Today, their experience in scent meets a new skincare expertise with The Gentleman Floris; the perfect blend of understated style and substance.

Introducing The Gentleman Floris Grooming Collection

They are composers who respect the dedication required for their industry’s craft. Floris’ approach is a blend of science and understanding, where rich history of craftsmanship is met with modern practices at their family-owned premises in Devon, England. The brand believes this is time well spent, as every Gentleman knows, dedicating time to the morning routine without haste or clamour, brings an added sense of wellbeing and satisfaction throughout the day.

Introducing The Gentleman Floris Grooming Collection

The Floris story is unique. It is built on a history of creation, family values and a long lasting and effecting relationship with customers. Sophisticated and understated, their elegance is born from experience, not artifice. “We are a whisper not a shout. We understand the emotive power of fragrance and the time honoured tradition of grooming. Nine generations later, our location at the very heartbeat of gentleman’s style and fashion gives us the perfect viewpoint to launch The Gentleman Floris.”

We picked out three new release products from the release which caught our eye. Upon testing them out for a few days, we were inspired by the textured packaging, product design and most importantly the fresh and powerful product formula within. We aimed to capture what it means to be a gentleman living and working in London. Whilst the city rapidly changes as each year goes by, there are certainly things which don’t change at all. We hold onto etiquettes, manners, traditions and habits whilst embracing classic style essentials which have been used for many generations.

Introducing The Gentleman Floris Grooming Collection

No. 89 Face Wash – A gentle foaming face wash to cleanse, purify and refresh skin daily whether in preparation for shaving at night or to alert and awaken your skin for the day ahead in the morning. A blend of British extracts of willow, hops and oat provide a softening effect whilst cleansing, leaving the skin feeling comfortable. We particularly like the masculine yet subtle scent of this product.

No. 89 Shaving Oil – A power-packed oil with a silky texture for an exceptionally smooth shave which feels like you’ve visited your barber. A premium blend of British blackcurrant, borage and rapeseed oils soften the facial hair whilst sea starwort oil and vitamin E help to soothe and protect the skin during and after the process. The tube is also a perfect size for travelling, particularly for men who travel light.

No. 89 Facial Moisturiser – A lightweight moisturising formula enriched with British extracts of willow, hops and oat, combined with a premium blend of blackcurrant, borage and rapeseed oils to relax and soothe the skin. Persian silk tree extract helps to leave the skin looking refreshed all day long. We like how this moisturiser is easy to apply and doesn’t leave the face looking greasy.

2 Chainz Checks Out will.i.am’s $1 Million Ride in GQ’s ‘Most Expensivest Shit’

GQ‘s 2 Chainz-hosted series Most Expensivest Shit is back with another episode as the rapper pays a visit to famed luxury auto company West Coast Customs. This time around, Chainz takes a stroll through the car customizers’ showroom where he is presented with a series of outrageously overpriced rides. Keeping his cool as he scopes everything from a chrome Audi used in a Tron promo to will.i.am’s futuristic $1 million custom-made whip, the ATL-based rapper falls weak at the knees upon sight of a $500,000 DeLorean installed with a bespoke Beats sound system.

Watch 2 Chainz check out the one-of-a-kind rides above along with a pair of $2 million diamond-studded smoking slippers as seen in the series’ last installment.
