International Space Station astronaut Terry Virts (@AstroTerry) tweeted this image of a Vulcan hand salute from orbit as a tribute to actor Leonard Nimoy, who died on Friday, Feb. 27, 2015. Nimoy played science officer Mr. Spock in the Star Trek series that served as an inspiration to generations of scientists, engineers and sci-fi fans around the world. Cape Cod and Boston, Massachusetts, Nimoy’s home town, are visible through the station window.

Filling Pieces x Monkey Time Slip Ons
Releasing this weekend is a new collaboration from international labels Filling Pieces and Monkey Time, a subdivision of United Arrows. The capsule collection boasts a pair of footwear options, two colorways of a new slip-on silhouette from Filling Pieces. Each color set notes premium handmade construction from perforated nubuck and tonal mesh, which can be seen at the heel. Reflective 3M detailing is also highlighted at the rear to account for added flavor for the shoes.
White midsoles provide a touch of contrast underneath, as this ultra limited release (40 pairs) will be launching on Saturday, February 28 at United Arrows.
