Did you know there’s a live, 24 hour HD stream from NASA from the International Space Station? It’s wonderful to look at every now and then, however the feed sometimes switches channels or goes dark for periods of time.
The YouTube stream above dutifully edits out the breaks and pauses so you’re always looking at a beautiful view of Earth. It’s even set to soothing music by Kevin McLeod.
Making premium bags and accessories from high quality leather and canvas is our passion. We are committed to consistent style and pay little interest in short-term trends. We make products that will last for generations.
Baron was founded in 1978 with the ambition to create well designed bags, made to be used over and over again. It started out with leather briefcases and weekend bags, but soon came to include the canvas collection, with bags and cases specially made for travelling and hunting.
Today, all Baron products combine classic elegance with the contemporary needs of the modern businessman and traveller. We are dedicated to quality and sustainability, both in terms of materials and workmanship. Our product development is focused on continuous improvement of existing models and limited introductions of new models.
Baron is owned and managed by the Adelswärd family. The family carries the title “baron” since 1783 and also holds the estate Baroniet Adelswärd, the only Barony in Sweden.

Photographer and filmmaker Harry Israelson is no stranger to It’s Nice That: we featured his gorgeous series about lawn bowls back in September. His website is an utter joy, packed with brilliantly shot images and innovative direction for music videos. The standout piece is this compelling film, where a sky dancer takes the starring role in a short we would happily watch all day. We spoke to Harry about his vibrant creative moniker, working with Toro Y Moi and more.
How did you get started in directing and photography?
In this stunning Autumn photo by Sebastian Unrau, we see an enchanting forest in the town of Bad Pyrmont in Lower Saxony, Germany. The scene looks straight out of a fairytale with the colours, light and fog.
There’s a miniature world inside these one-of-a-kind rings made from wood, jewellery resin, and besswax. From enchanted forests and snowy mountains to magical underwater worlds, each ring is handmade by Secret Wood, a design studio based in Vancouver, Canada.
Each ring is made to order and can be purchased through their website. Secret Wood says they intend on releasing pendant versions soon and you can keep up with their latest creations on their regularly updated Facebook page.

More importantly, however,…

This week is National Stationery Week; in other words, the perfect excuse to reassess and update your desk accoutrements. As any design lover will tell you, just because an object is functional, that doesn’t lessen its necessity to be aesthetically pleasing – which is where this excellent Italian stapler comes into its own. Rather wonderfully resembling a whale, and available in myriad hues, it is available from London…
