Jump Start Your New Year’s Resolution

Why wait until January 1st to start whittling away at your resolution list, when you can get a jumpstart now? The holidays are a frantic time of year with the added pressure of more socializing, which, in turn, means more drinking and eating than usual. Fortunately, the latest edition to P90X has just dropped: P90X3. This new and improved version of P90X has condensed the high-impact workouts into 30-minute sessions that concentrate on muscle building and calorie burning at an accelerated rate.

And if hitting the gym isn’t the most enticing prospect right now, might we suggest upgrading your workout apparel as a way to motivate you? Despite a tumultuous year, Lululemon is the most recent athletic clothing line to capture our attention. No bells and whistles, just streamlined, functional clothing to help you make it through your next lap around the health club.

“RCLP in collaboration with some great designers, bring you these Christmas card designs that you can purchase to send out to friends and family. Thanks to Jeff Rogers, John Passafiume, Dan Cassaro, Ryan Feerer (coming soon) and Chris Rushing.”

We love putting ink on paper. We use a historic method of printing known as letterpress. Before the use of computers and digital printing, type was printed using metal or wooden typefaces that would be arranged by hand and printed using a letterpress style printing press. We started our shop by resurrecting one of these old letterpresses. A 1947 Kluge to be exact. After weeks of cleaning and replacing worn out parts, we were able to get our Kluge up and printing again. Its a marvel to see in action.

Editor’s Pick: Parajumpers Schroeder Jacket

Just because temperatures have dropped doesn’t mean that guys don’t sweat. Last-minute holiday shopping, running errands, or just trying to get to work on time in the face of inclement weather (all while wearing a heavy coat) is enough to make most men overheat. Warm and light is the way to go, which brings me to the bomber-style Schroeder down jacket from Parajumpers. While the down-filling keeps you warm, it’s external shell is made from breathable nylon that is practically weightless, making it the ideal wintertime layering piece. It’s also water-repellent which is helpful in those unexpected winter storms and comes in a variety of colors to suit anyone’s preference.
