Generally when thinking of surfing, our minds are directed to warm, tropical locations with sandy beaches and the sun shining down on us. Recently, however, O’Neill Benelux team rider Dominga Valde and four of the best Dutch and Belgian surfers aimed at getting away from such overcrowded and more popular surfing areas and trying something a bit different.
For this, the team set off for Iceland and its freezing cold waters to find perfection. With wet-suits on their backs, the above video showcases just how much fun this collective of surfers had while taking on Iceland’s frigid temperatures.
